Hahahaha! As a mate commented about this picture on FaceBook..."Stef, stop inhaling!:
The plate's there to stop th newbie-hacks dribbling and spraying all over the floor, lol! Didges are great fun once you get the hang of playing, but the continuous cycling breathing is rather hard to do while maintaining level volume. A funny thing to do with a didge is make the Chewbacca cry down one..sounds eerily like the real thing! Hehehe

Good to see that you've got it on the road asap, and agreed with Bruce, You'll love driving it.
When took mine out after i started it, i had a smile from ear to ear, so glad it was back on the road.
You'll love it even more... summer is here!

Hey guys! Time for another update of some parts which have just arrived. ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
A very important item to get was a Haynes workshop manual.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4452.jpg)
A Continental timing belt kit was also a priority item to get...prevention's better than the cure! :P
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4442.jpg)
A new set of Bosch fuel injectors will make a nice difference.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4455.jpg)
A new distributor cap was needed, as the old one was looking a bit tired.
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4440.jpg)
Some new tailored floor-mats were desperately needed after the shocking 'homemade' efforts of the previous owner, which went straight in the garbage bin. LOL! The difference to the interior after fitting these has been amazing!
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4441.jpg)
A new fuel filter seemed a logical thing to change-over at the same time as the fuel injectors...the new fuel pump should be arriving any day now, and will be done in one go.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4431.jpg)
Seeing as the timing-belts will be changed, I thought it prudent to get a new water-pump assembly for peace of mind and avoid problems down the track.
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4432.jpg)
At the same time, a new timing cover gasket is to be installed.
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4434.jpg)
A set of new intake manifold gaskets weren't really needed, but changing them certainly cannot hurt! :P
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4436.jpg)
There was a special on GPS units, so decided to grab one while the price was right, hehe!
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4427.jpg)
...and finally my new headunit has showed up!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

LMAO, I wish mate!!! Feeling decidedly poor until payday, but hey it's all worth it right for the right cause yeah?! :P i thought it best to take care of the mechanical side of things first, before worrying too much about the minor aesthetic details. ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Oh yeah, there's a few other parts to add to the list!
A power capacitor for the stereo system.
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4421.jpg)
A 12" Nakamichi subwoofer
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4419.jpg)
And also the Nakamichi amp for the sub
![](http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l376/el_duderino_album/IMG_4422.jpg)
Heavy-gauge wiring kit for the sub/amp

Ewwww...that'd look horrid and spoil the originality of my car! The stereo's one thing, but mutilating the dash for a gadget which will be outdated in a couple of years time is a whole different thing...it's only likely to be used once a month anyway, so it can live in the glovebox. :P

Even a name brand cap does nothing, but a no name will be dead weight at best. The wiring kit uses V cheap RCA's that break if you look at them the wrong way, and can ruin a lot of work installing them(depending on job), and give you noise issues. It also contains a dodgy chinese fuse holder, that will result in a voltage drop(due to loose fitment{grip}of fuse) in the best case and worst case a fire hazard. I have some decent rca's we can use, so you really just need a decent fuse holder(stinger or PG etc) as power cable etc will be fine. The cap will make a nice paper weight but is a waste of time fitting to system
