If that were the case...all GR 944s would be pink. You just have to take "special" care of this color....or "preventive" care. It's 2011..there are products/methods to prevent this from happening. IMO..It just shows up with the single stage, 25 year old, neglected paint.

You reminded me that my '84 was actually Indischrot - Indian Red, not Guards Red. That could account for some differences.

Just wanted to bump this I used it on my faded fender and it now looks better than the rest of the car. Sorry no pictures.
