Gauging interest
I was in the process of doing and S swap into a 88 NA, unfortunately it doesnt look like i am able to do this due to resources at this time. I am contemplating parting out both vehicles. (I have two complete cars 1987 944 S and a 1988 NA)
The S was procured as a source car for the 88. neither car runs. The S sat up for several years and from what I have been told it was running when it was parked.
The 88 is in fair shape, been sitting up for a few years. It has a scored cylinder and possibly a broken timing belt and was the reason for the engine swap idea.
Both cars are Nautic Blue with Tan interior, however the S interior is destroyed due to the windows being left down in the weather for years and years. Interior in 88 NA is ok.
I just want to gauge interest in these cars. All drive line is attached in both cars. Both have 15" phone dials.

Im not sure to be honest...lol. It shows only 80K and some change on the odometer, I will probably at least take the head off to look at the engine to ensure im not selling someone a heap of scrap aluminum. Tell you what, let me check it out that way i can give a fair price. Plus i need to look at the wiring harness as its been sitting up and we all know what rats like to do to wires.
I could send it to the scrap yard and would be the easiest thing to do, however i know what prices are like for new parts on these things and know if I have something that someone can use and save some $$$$ doing it, im more than willing to help.
