Default Koni sport struts

Just curious to know what people's thoughts were on upgrading to Koni sport shocks. I would like a firmer ride that will improve the handling of the car over stock but nothing over the top. I'm thinking of pairing them with a new set of Weltmeister 200 springs and was wondering how they would compare to the factory springs. Should I stay with the stock rubber strut mounts or go for the KLAs?

I have Koni Adjustables in the Front on my 87'na with Bilstein HDs in the rear.

They are set to basically Full Firm, and the ride is good. For a Sports car of course...

I can not comment on the springs, other than you will notice the effects of Harder Springs much more than firmer shocks...

The 200 lb springs are a great budget upgrade. I had them on my 924s and it rode great. Felt more connected to the road.

200 lb spring, koni struts/shocks, turbo sway bars.

I had the Koni Sport's all around with 200lb springs for years now and they are perfect for the street.

I've just rebuilt the ball joints and upgraded the bushings and caster block and everything feels tight.

You can't go wrong with the Koni Sport shocks.

I'm using 250lb lowering springs on Koni Sports in Ground Control struts, set 2 clicks away from soft. I like them on the track and they work well on the street, but I wouldn't go any stiffer on a daily driver.

I put koni sports with welt 200# springs and the KLA strut top mounts on my s2 cab. Back is lowered to match the front with the eccentrics

They work great on the street not harsh at all but a fantastic improvement over the stock. Highly recommended for street use. I also did the caster blocks and bushings at the same time.

I have a Texas Performance splitter on the front and it ends out being low enough that it often scrapes on driveways and speed bumps but not too badly and it looks great.

Make sure to invest in a good alignment by someone who knows the 944 after your upgrade. It will make all the difference in the world.

I have basically the same set up. Fine for the street
