Anyone have a good source for the winshield molding which fit in the u-channel that surrounds the windshield.
If it matters I have an 1986 951.

Scott,
I just ordered it from Sunset Porsche which was the cheapest pricing I found. You can use this site for part number information:

On my 86N/A I had my windshield replaced about 7 years ago. My local glass shop got the windshield (Securit) and a new molding installed , tinted top and radio antenae for $500.

Scott,
Did you find a source for the u-channel? There is a spacer (U-channel) that fills the gap and makes the windshield flush to the body which I am trying to find.

I had the windshield replaced on Friday (I had the early windshield installed for $270) and they reused the original u-channel as it was in great condition....it is just that the trim gasket has seen better days and I am a little OCD about it now that I have brand new glass.
