Parking lights working without a fuse....
I have been driving my 87' 944 the past several days and I'm trying to fix some of its quirks.
So initially the entire right side parking lights started popping the fuse as soon as you turned them on. After looking around for broken wires and corrosion and finding nothing I decided to give up and just live with it until another day. Now out of no where the whole right side lights up as soon as you turn the key on and it has no fuse in place! Is anyone familiar with the wiring or have the factory diagrams handy to figure out a likely area where the lights might have a problem and be able to pick up power without a fuse completing the circuit? My manuals are in SC and I would love to knock this problem out this weekend.
BTW....the car is completely stock and does not have any kind of aftermarket alarm wired in and never has just in case you thought of that.

I have no idea what could be causing this but the workshop manuals as well as the wiring diagrams are available online:

Edit: I occurs to me that you could just start pulling other fuses until they go off, that way you can figure out what system they may be shorted to.

Does the turn signal lamp in the dash cluster light up? How about the parking lights indicator? It's fuse #41, 7.5A, right? Try removing fuse #32 and see if that turns it off.

ground fault. try wiggling wires and connectors around untill you can get the light to go on and off based off moving the wire
I had a similar issue with my windows, found out it was a wire that had a chunk taken out of the rubber wire insulation, and that was contacting the chassis.
the problem wire is going to be a power wire too, if that helps any
