Problem with the turbo swap solution is that it doesn't solve the issue of coolant/oil mix if one of those seals gives up. If you can provide a blanking plate that gets rid of those seals and provides an external oil cooler, that would be a great plus. Just thinking out aloud, don't know if that is even possible.

could try tapping the oil hole in the block for a fitting that would pass through the custom plate, and then there would be no need for o-rings that fail down the road...

I could certainly get rid of one of the seals and at least put a redundant additional o ring into the block, thinking out loaud is good unless its about mamary distractions
