So the Popular Mechanics shoot was yesterday. I went great!

It looks like it will be in the November issue that will hit new stands on 10/15. There were some other very nice cars and people there as well. The people fro Popular Mechanics were great.

The other cars I saw there were a ealry 80's corvette, a 1990's miata and a 1984 Ferrari 308 that was in very nice shape.

Hopefully my 944 and the Ferrari 308 (Rich from Ferreri Chat) will take the leader for the article but we will see.

Hey Guys, I had the Ferrari in the shoot this weekend, it was very cool to see all the cars and meet with everyone. Giantviper, shoot me an email sometime and we can get together, maybe a Cars and Coffee or something. Lets hope the cars get in the Issue!

Was this the article you were working on? Not too bad, though I didn't understand the claim about the expensive parts. My 944 costs less to maintain than a lot of newer cars on the road. It's nice to see our cars get some positive press.

Parts costs for these cars are obnoxious, and they keep creeping up, and their quality and availability keep declining. A 944 is more expensive to maintain than most any car out there.
Cool article and congrats GViper on getting the plug. It's this kind of widespread exposure that brings awareness to our cars and thus increase the values...then parts become available and the value of the car warrants it's upkeep. WINNER.
