@Spencer Anon, eh? Me Gusta.
@FRporscheman, I would definitely like to take a look at your 951. ^__^ at this point, I'm just trying to find grounds and misc electrical hookups, which wouldn't be too off from your turbo setup...

Responded to ur PM. I'll be tinkering tomorrow so feel free to drop by.
One trick that works for me is to look at the shape of the wire. Since it's been sitting in a certain position for years and has hardened from heat, getting the wire to lay in a position that doesn't tug/pull will usually be the right position.

I live north of vallejo, which sucks for me being so far away from everyone. And to update everyone, I've got my wires and vacuum lines set up so I can drop my intake manifold on, and am actually working on getting my transaxle installed while I have a friend and his motorcycle jack here. lol hopefully by the weekend it'll be all good.

Hey, I'm down in San Mateo, only a 45 minute drive or so. I'm a good wrench, and have played only with a '79 924 and two '86 951's. I'd be happy to give a helping hand, and I have a Hayne's manual handy for 944's which could help slightly. But definitely, if you're in need of an extra hand or two, I'm more than happy to help out. Just give me a shout!
On the by, us Bay Area folk should really get together for some meets. I know of a big one down in Stoneridge Mall on August 5th, if any of you already know and are going, it would be cool to get a good turnout.

Oh, and Parts Haven is awesome. I've picked up quite a few parts from them in the past. Everything in really great condition.
I've got a 1.5 ton jack and two jack-stands that might help as well!
