Need it to get the blower fan on my car working properly again. Figured I'd ask before I spend a bunch of time trying to revive my old one...
TIA!

Standard Rennlist answer is to drop it in a glass of vinegar over night, then let it dry out for a day or so. I haven't actually tried it myself, but I've seen a lot of Rennlisters say that it works. Do a search and you should find a lot of these comments

Well, I have all kinds of vinegar at home, but no straight, plain vinegar. So it's soaking in Apple Cider Vinegar right now. We'll see what happens!

I have been known to use battery acid if I am in a hurry. Gets nice and fizzy. Make sure you prop the contacts apart with a little piece of toothpick or the like so the contact surfaces get refreshed.

A battery. Pry off a cap and dip some put with a clean bamboo skewer or the like. A couple of drops is all that is needed.
I also have some laying around from having leftovers after filling motorcycle batteries that come dry.
