Default 1989 944 Turbo S

I'm looking at a 1989 944 Turbo, but it doesn't have split rear seats. Didn't they come with the split rear seats or were they options?

Thanks........

an 89 turbo is not a turbo s. it is a turbo with all the s options. prickly detail.

IIRC my 89 NA had split rear seats, and my 89 951 did not. my 3 89 S2s did not and my 88 951 did not. lots of useless information.

check the option codes by the spare with one of the decoders.

they're a separate option. I have sport seats and no split rear in my 89.

BTW I tell everyone it's a turbo S too

my DD says Saturn on the title but I call it a Ferrari.

Want to buy my Ferrari for a good price? Cheaper than any Ferrari you will find.

You have to pick and choose who you throw the "S" out there too. If it's someone in the "know", just say '89 Turbo. If it's a wannabe, you gotta throw the "S" out there so they understand.

Jesus, can you even imagine a "wannabe" with 944 turbos now-a-days?
