Default lost fan speeds 1-3 onl yhave high

I am using my A/C yesterday, when the fan stops working. Now, it only works on the highest speed, A/C still blows cold. Any thoughts.

1987 is the year.

Drop that resistor into a cup of white vinegar. Leave it for at least 8 hours. Then let it dry for a while. Put it back in and it should work great.

Vinegar works great. It's a weak acetic acid. White is cleanest.
You might stick some toothpicks in the contacts' arms to hold them open during the soak to get better exposure.

Well I soaked the part in the Vinegar. I was not sure of this, but you all said it would work. Well it did and i have fan speeds again. Imagine, a simple solution that could have costs big bucks to fix. Thanks to you all for you input.
