Default oil cooler?

does an 85.5 na have an oil cooler and if so where would it be? and if it does could you add another(in line or another location)? just wondering

Yes it has an oil cooler just lake all the cars. However it is a water bath oil cooler so it is interal to the engine and is bathed in engine coolant. Location is rectangle under the oil filter.

The 944 Turbo and 944S2 have external oil to air oil coolers.

You can add a sandwich plate and then go with an external cooler as well.
