I'm gonna get it running again!

Here we go, in no particular order:

Rebuilt head, turbo, TB, PS pump
SFR stage 1 headers
2-piece (3 really) crossover
Jet Hot all exhaust components, hot side, & all heat shields
Jet hot hard pipes (LR) and intake (for looks & easy maintenance)
New engine harnesses (LR)
LR fuel rail, adj remote FPR, gauge, braided lines
HV fuel pump
All new LR silicone hoses/lines
Venturi & spider delete
Laust vacuum manifold & T
Resealed balance shaft housings
AOS seals
LR catch can
LR steam vent
New reference sensors
Oil cooler housing seals
Braided DOT brake lines
All new stainless hose clamps, incl t-clamps for IC pipes
E-code headlights
Rennbay headlight harness
Clear front turn signals & markers
Smoked rear lenses & markers
Coolant reservoir tank
Re-zinc plating some brackets & parts that are in bad shape
Tint windows
Almost forgot... M-Tune w/80# injectors!

...gosh, I think that covers most of it, plus a ton of other little while I'm in there nuts & bolts, bits & pieces, etc.

if anyone out there has been looking at 968s or engines, i want to warn you all that there's a 968 up on ebay right now... i drove quite a distance to see it only to be astonished by what i discovered. it has a rebuilt title... the seller is advertising it as a well sorted, car, and at first glance it appears to be a very nice car. i drove it. it drives fine... but the reality is, it has a badly bent frame. the car had been in a considerable front end collision that destroyed the bumper and cover, radiator, both fenders, inner body work, hood, etc, a few years ago, (if i'm to trust what the seller says as being truthful)... anyway, from what i gather, when the bodywork was nearing completion, in order to line up the hood within the constraints of the fenders the technician was forced to leave an atrocious gap between the header panel and the hood of about 5/16" at the driver's side corner and gradually increasing to about 11/16" at the passenger side front corner. after i drove it, the hood was even in worse alignment with part of it striking right up on the fender and the driver's side door wasn't closing properly. when you pop the hood, the rear of it bangs into the driver's side wiper. i was shown where the welding had been done inside the engine bay, and it looked pretty rough. if you stand behind the car, i imagine it can be demonstrated that the front end bends off to the right..... ignition switch is faulty, elec windows don't work, lights don't retract properly and the shift lever has been sheered off for a crude, home-made or B&M **** posing as some kind of short shifter, and the windshield is cracked beyond repair... the photos of the nose of this car don't accurately represent what is going on with it now. if you read the ad, the reason should become obvious; it had a second wreck (into a ditch) and the lower portion of the front bumper was bashed in a second time and replaced... anyway, the seller should be selling this as a parts car only. not wasting people's time on a national forum trying to pass it off as a clean car.

This year: drive it to high school everyday for my junior year xD, tinker around with it, repair front valance

Sometime in the coming years: repaint it to it's original and beautiful sienna red color, instead of it's oxidated,who-knows-how-old guard red maaco paint job...

sell it (or ls1), have a turbo as my second car

this Continental Orange 1 of 1 968 should be importable. Galva on the '68 forums found it.

i should post a few photos since the ad will expire.
