Default What is this cable doing in my car?

While installing my sub I found this strange looking printer cable in my car. I was hoping someone here would know what it was for. It run all the way up front on the passenger side of the car.

The wording on the cable is TSUCHIYA Densen, I got nothing when trying to search for it on google last night.

Another questions does anyone know how to replace that fabric looking material on the kickpanels?

Nice.

Put it next to your 8088 XT computer in the passenger seat.

Truthfully it's from a car phone. Both of my cars had the main "brain" boxes in one of the smuggler's compartments. Be careful just yanking it out as I'm sure it taps into power somewhere it shouldn't.

If it was in the rear cubby hole, it is most likely for the car phone. mine had one, still has the mount on the passenger side center console

Find a phone and hook her up! Call some people up and tell them you're calling from your CAR!

One roommate laughed at me and the other roommate for watching Top Gun the other evening...

"Highway to the danger zone...." now I'm singing it!

OH, and the fabric is part of the carpet piece...
