Default Part # for the rock gaurds in front of the rear wheels?

Recently had my drivers side repainted and I need to get the rock guard. Shop didn't put it on, they want the paint to cure some first.

Figured I'd replace both, anyone know the part #'s and cost?

TIA!

OEM part numbers.

I bought from this place.

haven't been able to put it on yet, but it looks decent. Only complaint would be the long order processing time... I assume they don't keep them stocked. ~2 weeks.

James, I believe that is paint. Your local auto paint suppler should be able to help.

Best way to DIY take the old stuff off? I am purchasing an 88 951 and these film protectors have discolored and cracked. I want to remove and replace myself so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Lane

I don't have stone guards but, if i were to install them; i would go the 911 route. I think they look great!

The Funny thing is: My Car has hundreds of rock chips, (All of them happend last year while commuting from Baltimore to DC everyday ) *

*But none of the rock chips are where the stone guards would be...

the "best" way is to learn patience first. I used a heat gun, various plastic scrappers, and 3-M adhesive remover or Goo Gone. It takes 45-60 minutes per piece IIRC. Probably the best tool I used was a set of plastic "chisels" from Harbor Freight. They were stiff enough to get the goo off but would not scratch the finish.

The key word is patience. As mentioned already it is just a process of going back and forth from heat, googone, and plastic scraping. I also did a lot of fingernail scraping.
