phone dials
Hey guys... I have not been on the 944 forum for a while - playing over on the air cooled side the past couple years. Anyway started spring cleaning here in Ontario Canada - well it snowed again last night so spring is a relative term. While clearing space in the garage I came across a set of 16" phone dials 7 and 8's ( 86 Turbo ). These are left overs from the 944 days. Just looking for a price point so I can photograph them and post them. Any insite would be helpful.

I will post pics tomorrow - I feel they are very good condition and $300 or best offer is the number.
Thanks to those who posted and provided insight

Judging by this chart, they are only 1lb more than the Fuchs as well:

** actually, this chart indicates that the 951 Fuch and 951 Phone dial are slightly different backspacing amounts, so perhaps thePD won't work well in the front of a 911.. but would work better on the rear of a 911.

Agreed.. When I ran 944T fuchs on my 911SC the 7/8 combo "looked" like 6/7" wheels, but I still ran 225f, 245 rear tires. I ended up running 1/4" spacers in rear just cause I had them. But that also means with the offset, they could be squeezed in the front of a 911 as well.. or even massaged to work under the rear of a non-flared 911 (ie, 69-77) . And imho, sometimes Phone dials look funky on a 911 since they are so equated with 944/928 series cars instead.
