Default Clutch Master Rerplace or rebuild?

My clutch pedal is starting to stick on release more and more. I decided to slide into the most uncomfortable position I could possibly think of and see if adjusting the rod and spring would help. It did not!

I did pull the boot off and had quite a bit of fluid pour out. I'm fairly certain the m/c is going out. So has anyone rebuilt these or is it just easier to replace it. I have rebuilt MG and Spitfire masters and slaves but not Porsches'

any thoughts would be helpful

I replaced mine , there not expensive and didn't want to deal with issues like scratch bores which you don't know about until you have it out of the car.

rebuilding them usually lasts just a short time- get a new one. I would put a slave in as well since they are usually close behind.

Its only a $65 part, just buy a new one. I actually just replaced my MC. I also recommend replacing the slave cylinder as well if it is still original. My slave failed in 2007 and I replaced it, 2011 comes around and the master fails, might as well do it in one shot. Others will agree as well.

Thanks for the reply's. That's what I thought, but I thought I'd ask anyways. And good call on the scoring Andy. I did have that problem with my spitfire brake master once. I just wasn't thinking about it until you said something.
