I've put this up on the Canada forums a while back, but if we are planning a drive, this could come in handy...

Every year there is a british car show in Kingston city park that people from all over attend how about a Porsche car show or German car show ?? Would be fun!

I can vouch for many of those roads. PCA did a rally last year that centred around Rattlesnake point, it was incredible!

I'm lucky enough to have the Cambridge - Paris run as my usual quick "blow the cobwebs out" run.

A drive would be fun. How about a simple meet and greet to get organized and determine interest.

BTW Went to the Toronto GTG yesturday. 10+ Porsche. 2 944's. Freezing cold...then we went outside! Beautiful and sunny out though!

I was actually hoping to hit the GTG this coming Sat. the 26th but I'm getting my 944 aligned. The silver lining is my alignment guy is 5 mins up the road from Snake Rd. so I'm looking forward to a nice blast down there.

I am certainly up for an all 944 meet, that would be great. Even better if it's close to T.O.

I would take the drive to kingston if that happened. Wouldn't want you to be the only 944 cab.

Definitely up for a meet in Kingston. We are right in between Toronto and Montreal if some of you folks would like to drive down. Heck, some of the Northern New Yorkers might show as well! We could meet and greet at one of our local waterfront parks and perhaps work in a 1-2 hour fun run followed by lunch/dinner. If there's interest, I would help plan it.

I would definitely be in for a Kingston area meet! Give me a couple more weekends to get my hoses changed, though.

It seems like we have a lot of interest. I think the first thing we have to agree on is a date. We can worry about the where later.
How does the weekend of April 23 (Easter long weekend) or the weekend after (April 30) sound to everyone?
That should give everybody enough time to get their cars ready and the rains should wash all the salt off the roads by then.

I'm not sure I'm going to go to it, but the weekend of the 23rd is the Hershey swap meet...

I would try to avoid conflicting with other events if possible, so the 30th sounds ok to me. I'm fairly easy going with regards to choosing a date.
