1983 Porsche 944 with 12k original miles. So far, so good...............

Is this the car that only cost $1,000??? (edit: sorry, confused with another post)

Has it ever been serviced? Belts in particular?

Very nice example, here is my '83 with the Fuchs, turbo rear valance and 911 guards. It looks like we have the same interior as well. Can you post some more pics? My project for today is getting it out for the first time this year so this is good timing. To get the old yellowed guards off is a test of patience. I used combinations and cycles of heat, Xylene and a lot rubbing with both rags and fingernails. It will take a long time but getting them off with no damage is worth your work.

It was owned by someone in Hollywood, CA and it sat in storage since 1989 and was donated to a charity in 2010. I bought it off the 2nd owner who bought it in 11-2010 from the charity. It has a clean Carfax and hasn't been licensed since 1989. It has the original blue Cali plates. The 2nd owner replaced some fuel injectors, fuses, new tires,etc. Passed Smog check yesterday.

!2,000 miles? Get outa town. Watch out for sludge though and get the maint, up to date.

___+1 (same here those pics were on Scooper 944 post that's why.

Congrats look sharp for an 83 (ENJOY) interior & engine bay pics will be nice if possible.Like mention belts ASP if haven't been done.
