Sad someone let it get to that point. Might be a great buy for someone to get fairly cheap and really bring it back to glory though.

If it goes fairly cheap it could be a good buy... seems like a solid starting point

The seller still owes the body shop 2k. So you would have to pay that also in order to pick up the car...

Run away!!! That thing is a disaster! It's not even worth the $2000 mechanic's lien, let alone the insane $7000 asking price in the first go around. Plus the seller is a complete nincompoop.

Field day, indeed

I'm confused about the body kit. He mentions this is factory installed? Very strange car.

It's NOT factory installed, it's an aftermarket kit, mostly by AIR. This guy has come up with so much cockamamie crap, nothing he says can be believed. For example, all that BS about the cat being non-standard...the part he's referring to with the 931 part number on it is the exhaust manifold, not the cat. And $1200 for a used cat after a nationwide search??? Give me a break.

This car is nothing more than a 1982 US-spec 931 abandoned project that has been sitting for too long. But such a deal. "Basically the car is free the winner will be assuming the cost and my loss on this restoration only...approximately $4300 in parts and a $2735.91 deposit on the labor has been spent."

So he's still hoping for $7K.

So are people bidding to buy his bad debt? Anyone want to give me $200 for one of my credit card bills?

on old interiors. whether they look like terrariums or normal 'crusty' from natural aging, at 30 years, they need a makover anyway. when i was looking at 928s a while back, i saw 5 or 6 cars from before 1987 and they all needed to be redone.

That guy is freaking nuts..... I asked him if he researched the vin and pointed out that according to his vin the car is a normal 924 turbo... he still thinks it is a GTR.... very funny
