Default Floorboard falling apart .... options?

While under my 83 fixing oil pan, I noticed a "hanger" hanging loose ... turns out that my drivers side floorpan is falling apart

the seat rocks back and forth
I guess the years of leaking oil and coating the underside has caused some erosion.. or it's the fact that I have been dumping brake fluid in every day due to a leaking master cylinder ...

So what options do I have ???
weld in new floor ?
Bolt in a plate ???

They do tend to crack out of the holes for the seat bolts. I had to weld up the one on the front driver's side a few years ago.

Is there rust or just damage?

No rust, just metal fatigue from the driver getting in and out.

first remove the seats, center console (etc), and carpeting. choose whether you want to start with the inside or outside and grind the area down to bare metal or you can wire wheel all of the paint (or rust if any) off in that particular area. clean the area of any paint flakes or oils and weld the area or seam back together. do the same for the opposing side. if you don't have a welder, pay to have it done. this is a very easy fix!

And then re-inforce the area with another layer of metal to spread the load out.
