Cool 951 & S2 clear front blinker lenses

I got finally clear blinker lenses for my 951 (thanks Joakim).
Some of you asked to report how do i like them.
I have not yet installed them, so i don't know how they change the look of my car.
What comes to quality of these lenses they are not as good as the factory original, but i still like them. The quality of the section which is visible is good.
I will write more as soon as i got them installed.Try to get few pics as well.

Olli, is Joakim casting these out of the liquid lexan that the modeling people use for making waterfalls in toy railroad landscapes?

I was thinking of doing that but never got around to it as the mold, especially the skirt, seemed like it would take a lot of work to get correct. Sounds like Joakim ran into this problem.

Look forward to the installed pictures.

I read of how they were made on the <a href="http://ww.944sverige.com" target="_blank">Swedish 944-board</a>...

An original pair was used to make a mold and then this was used, the plastic in the white ones are supposed to be made of UV-safe plastic so that they stay white.

Sweanders, while one set of my Grandparents were from Sweden and Finland, they are now 6 foot under the ground so the translation of that web site is going to be a problem for me.

The casting lexan I was thinking about is also UV stabilized so I bet it is the same stuff. Though even with the stabilizer, the lenses won't stay crystal clear for ever as the Sun eventually wins that battle.
