See it? The one with the Boxster and what I think is a 550 Spyder? Just gosh darn sweet. If I had to make a Porsche commercial, it's what I would do.

Caught the last 3/4th of it but it was still cool.

yea its cool.. dude is in a comma for 50 years, wakes up, takes his spyder for a spin, boxster guy sees it, follows him, and they both look at each others car in amazement timeless

commercial is like half a year old though, i saw it on speedvision once. neato.

Yeah, Porsche seems to make good commecials. I don't remember anything about a comma though. Maybe their is shorter versions.

I saw the cut with the COMA part. and the guy in the 550 looks at the guy in the boxster and it goes something like this.

550 (old man) (glances at boxster while being past)

-HOLY

BOXSTER ( young guy glances at 550)

- MOLY!

it's a great one. ONly saw it once and I still remember it to the "t".

Amazing how those 550's can sit for 50 years and all you have to do is throw off the cover and start it right up. Wish I could do that with my 944S after a winter storage!

Definitely a great commercial... and myself and many other Porsche club folks got to see it being filmed! On the way home from Whistler Weekend in Canada last summer, we started seeing the "road closed" signs being set up. Then see a film crew and camera car in a pull-out... then see the enclosed trailers with a 550 and Boxster. Had no idea at the time if it was a commercial or a movie. 3 months later I see it on Speedvision [RIP].

I think Porsche's marketing department (or whoever comes up with their ads, both print and TV) is really on the ball. I actually want to do an internship with them sometime. I like the magazine one where it says "We don't know who invented the speedbump, but we're pretty sure he wasn't German."
