crankshaft belt sprocket removal?
Ok, I jumped in with both feet and decided to do my own water pump and belts since the pump was leaking. I have the balance shaft belt off and I'm trying to get the cam belt off and the rear belt cover but I CAN'T GET THE CRANK SPROCKET OFF THE SHAFT!!!!!
I have two pullers, one is too small (keeps slipping off) and one is too large (won't fit between sprocket and radiator.
Is there a "secret tool" required to get this off?
I'm past the point of no return now and have to finish the job. HELP!!!
Thanks for all replies.

Spray it down with some penetrating oil, making sure to get around the key also. Tap around the gear lightly then use a small pry bar from underneath while a helper does it from above. Be very gentle doing this so you don't damage the rear cover or mar the shaft.
Good luck!

Get the right size puller before you break something. Use of an appropriately sized bolt (inhex head), placed in the crank holt hole and used as a pivot for the puller "point" will help a lot.
