Post Trailer Hitch

I plan on pulling a small trailer to haul track tires to and from the track. The only hitch I can find is over $200 which seems high for what it is. Anybody else pull a trailer and what did you do for a hitch. Porsche use to have one but the part number is no longer available.

Also there was one in the classifieds a while back. If it is still available email me.

I used to have one on my 87 944, to tow my race bike to the track. I got more thumbs up on the road than at any other time.

As far as i remember at the time there was only one company making hitches for our cars. I think you're pretty much stuck.

I have an aftermarket hitch for the 944 here in my hand. Made by a company named Da'Lan and it has a part # 847224. 1000lb gross trailer weight with a 100lb max tongue weight. Dunno how much it retails for as I bought it off the Rennlist classifieds.

I just tried that link and my '86 944 came up as $221.85, what vehicle info did you input to get $187?
