Default Euro Bumper questions

So, I was just looking at the euro bumper I have. The number starts with 931... not 944.

Will it still fit the 944 body, or only the 924?

Thanks!!

The euro n/a bumper does have a 931 part number. The only way to be 100% sure is posting a picture. I know for a fact the 924 euro bumper does not fit the 944 front end.

This is a rear bumper.

I remember the post on here about someone making the 924 front bumper fit his 944.... it was not easy. That's actually what made me wonder about my 931 rear bumper.

IIRC the 924 rear bumpers are too narrow so you have to add material to make them fit.

Actually i think it will fit even if it's a 924 bumper ,on the 944 only the quarter panels are wider not the whole rear end but don't take my word for it ,it's just a thought.

I believe that the 924 and 944 euro rear bumpers are interchangeable

If I'm not mistaken, the rubber strip on my euro rear bumper has a 944 part number

Rear Euro 924 bumpers will not fit a 944 as said above its to narrow, I know to my cost of having a 924 bumper painted to fit my UK 944 then finding out its to short!

So, I was just looking at the euro bumper I have. The number starts with 931... not 944.

Will it still fit the 944 body, or only the 924?
944 euro rear bumbers have 931-partnumber (all 4 bumbers in my garage have it) . Euro 951 bumber have 944-number. Only difference in these bumbers are the possibility to use towing loop/hook or what ever it is called with 951 bumber.
