928 Motorsports sells an adapter for $7.50 or you can fab your own.

Ritzblitz that is what Im tying to do except my shift **** isnt going to be a ball. So all I have to do is thread the **** get a rod to put on it then weld the rod to the linkage? if so that is pretty simple.

yeah tap and die and a welder. I cut the shift lever square and notched the rod to increase the surface area for the weld. You definitely don't want it breaking off while you're driving.

Just weld a bolt to it, skip the die

No I'll make the shift **** nice and I have it center drilled already. If I have the materials which I do I will make it nice.

Good idea. A bolt would not turn out right unless you covered the entire lever with the boot.
