944 Racing Chassis and Lexan Hatch with Banana Wing
I am willing to sell these two separate, or together.
I have a straight and clean race car chassis for sale. It has a stock suspension under it (no rear torsion bar though or sway bars) (944 turbo I believe on the front struts)
The wheels and the doors are not included in this sale. I have some other stock doors if the buyer would like them.
The cage is fantastic looking.
This car had a haltech system, so there is not much of the original wiring left in the car. Also, the car had a fuel cell, so there are a few extra cut outs for that. All which can easily be covered.
Also, I have a nice banana wing setup for a 944 race car.
It includes the lexan hatch. Everything is put together very well.
The factory spoiler piece in this setup is fiberglass, not rubber too.
The hatch is held down with pins that extend up through the hatch into the wing. I took a few pictures of it.
This is very nice setup. I can not see who makes it though.
I am looking for $1400 for the car without the lexan hatch and wing. I am looking for $1100 for the hatch and wing setup. I would go for $2300 for the chassis including the hatch and wing.
This is a great chance to have a roller for the price of the cage that is in it.
If someone already has a lexan hatch, I would be happy to give credit in a swap for this one.
Thanks
Ed

It just has the one brake duct on the one side. I figured all the misc stuff left on the car would go with the car. The seat, the cut off switch, all that stuff with the car.
Yes, the wing is big, but also light. Surprisingly light.
Thanks

Thanks to a rennlister that PM'ed me. The wing is a Lindsey wing that they made several years ago. Here is some info on it.
Here is a link to some info about the wing.

Tom, I need to get back with you on your questions from my paperwork to be sure. We bought the car as complete (with the motor and trans) a year ago now.
But, from memory.
No, we did not get the title or log books. The cage is stamped and has PCA stickers on it from tech.
It is an 89 turbo S chassis. (I guess they were all turbo S's in 89 though.)
Thanks
Ed
