For a fuel pressure gauge, I am happy having a non-permanent installation. I found this guy who supposedly did a replica of the VW 1318 fuel pressure gauge (which is specified in the shop manual):

So I bought one, but the fitting for the fuel rail isn't right, and I need to replace that fitting (on the gauge) to make the gauge assembly useful.

I really need to get a "brass ball-seat hose nipple" with a metric thread. An example with regular pipe thread is shown here:

Beautiful!! Can't wait to see it at the fest. Man that gets me siked to get my engine in my 2nd 951, but John Anderson is keeping me from doing this (Engine ordered Nov 2002)! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
