I know your not interested in a CS but it one of the only wheel that will be just rigth ,as you can see the stalks are 1" 3/4 from the wheel .It is a little closer than the dash then the OE one.

What I had in my 83-944 was a Dino 510 ,real simple to install & doesn't need no mode but don't know if they are still available ,got mine at Vertex.

Roman; I am a pretty slim guy, 5'11" and about 155lbs. If anything its more comfortable because my legs dont hit the bottom of the wheel anymore. No problems getting in and out, probably easier because of the smaller diameter.

I have the 69...in 330mm trim.

I really like it. I just wish I got it covered in suede. I saved $20 buying it from an Ebay store not knowing it was covered in "smooth as a babies ***" leather. Its hard to grip during "enthusiastic" driving.

Spend the extra money, and get the one on Amazon. Its the next cheapest one I found, and it specifically says "Suede".

I have the Mod 07 and find the rim too thin (30mm - round, rather than oval cross-section). Has anyone had both the Mod 01 and Mod 69? I led to believe that the 69 is thicker in feel and has the oval section. Can anyone confirm this? I want to change my wheel, but there is no where locally that I can see try these side-by-side.

I have been debating swapping steering wheels on mine also. I am between the Club Sport Steering Wheel and the RS Steering Wheel.

Im currently running monte carlo momo on mine and love it. Ive had suede wheels over the years and got sick of the montly upkeep (dismount, clean, toothbrush, dry redye every year)
