For those of you who wanted a step by step, this should take care of you.

Very nice job!
I painted my calipers, but it wasn't as good of a job as yours. They stayed on the car, and I just cleaned them up reaaaaal good with some Brakekleen, a wirebrush, and some parts cleaner. Then I taped off the whole area and blasted it with some hi-temp black paint. Turned out nice, but nowhere near as nice as yours.
I'm confident you'll have the best 951 in the world when you're through.

As you guys read it, if you think I left out anything, let me know. I'll go back and add it in.

Great write up! Nice results and the finish should be very durable.
BTW, your 951 appears very close to concours perfection now! A testament to all your hard work. Congrats!

And it's "GOBOGIE" not "GOGOGIE" for the record.

Thanks everyone! I take it there is nothing I need to add.
Humm.. an Excellence article.... that would be pretty cool, however, I don't think this is something they would want to "highlite". I don't have a "911" on the deck lid! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />
Seriously, I would love to see ANY content on 944's in Excellence. I love the mag, but they need to be a bit more diverse.
