Thanks, she works well too! Now I'm all excited about the NA engine coming and dead curious to see if I can play with the cup cars.... We'll see, few more months.

Looks like he did given the skull on the valve cover.
On mine no update yet, I'm pre arranging paper work to avoid hassle when it comes back. Expect to ship to Michael first week of Jan, then have an 8 to 10 week build.
Once building we'll provide pics.

You should do 3.2 Turbo based on the 968 engine with VarioCam... you put enough work into the yellow car, you might as well have 500hp

Sounds like the 4 cylinder brother of the supra or the quattro sport just waiting to happen! I think it may have been done already but I don't really see anyone talk about it.

Sorry, but no. Displacement is the least of these engine's problems in the quest for big power.

I said "brother" as in little brother, obviously I don't expect to see 1000hp like some supras make, but think about it, supras - 1000hp, audis - 800hp; I think a 4-cyl 968 turbo could make at least 600hp.

So, what are the problems with a 968 engine in the quest for more power?

I was goint to do 3.0 turbo, still might, but the NA fits better in the competition here. So for now, Michael will build me the 3.2 NA. Once we re in progress we'll update with pics and stories.

For the time being (waiting for shipping and Michael to build) I'm putting in the rotrex supercharger on my spare (freshly rebuild) 3.0

Henk, can you tell us more about where you bought the supercharger and mounting bracket? Looks a bit like a Kraftwerk bracket.

Nice work!

Thanks,
Mike

Assuming that it's the Kraftwerk bracket I guess he got it at the 'Bahn-Bahn-Bahn-Auto-Auto-Bahn!' ;-)
