Do a search on Ebay and you will find the LS3 pumps from the company I got mine from they have gone up since I bought mine but they are still less than anywhere else I could find. I did not want the hydraulic lines associated with hydraboost adding clutter to the engine bay, they are heavy and having driven several cars with the ABS unit I really like the feel and modulation not to mention it looks sweet.

Wow, great work Tom! I haven't been on here in a while, and just noticed your thread. I really like that intake tube setup. Please post videos when you get it on the road.

I'm still plugging on mine, trying to fit the BMW/Ate hydroboost stuff.

Hey Allen,
Hope all is well and you had a great Holiday! I received my new A-arms from Andy last week and they look great I took them to the powercoater today, I get them back Thursday and then I can finish putting the front suspension together. I still have to install the dash, door panels and seats from the gray car. I expect 480-500rwhp so it should be a beast but will also have good street manners with the somewhat mild camshaft Scott spec'd for me from Comp. Good luck with the hydro-boost install I am sure it will make the car safer and faster on the track.

Might I ask the deciding factor in choosing those control arms over say Racer's Edge? I'm looking to purchase a set at the end of the month and I'd appreciate your input.

Default A-arm feedback

I have used the Racers Edge arms (Karl is a good friend) and they are very nice but also expensive, by the time you buy all the bearing, machine the spindles to fit them (19MM pin) you will be in for over 2K. The arms I bought are less than half that price and the version with the factory early style ball joint makes them serviceable and keeps the cost down. I think you can get the High Strung arms with a 19mm ball joint pin but I did not want them on mine. I am using the ones with the racing style ball joints for geometry correction on my conversion. It was really a matter of cost and value I feel that both a-arms are a significant safety upgrade for track use. 2k+ vs $850 was sort of a no brainer for me. Last thing the fabrication/welding quality and service is excellent on the High Strung arms.

Just a FYI for the A/C compressor, it needs to be a rear port. The GTO has a side port that exits into the frame rail.

I called the Chevy dealer. They sent me some info, including this:

Narrow/tall accessory layout - like in the CTS-V

Wide/low accessory layout - like in the 'vette

i was thinking the cts is just a repeat of the LS9 Vette.

btw, where's the supercharger on these LS9s? don't see it.

On your 3rd engine picture, do you see the throttle body angled on its side? See behind that there is a black round pulley with belt on it? That's the blower's drive. The super charger nests in the V - where the intake runners otherwise are.

I walked on a Pontiag G8 a few days ago..... I would like to see what the L76 could do in a 948 that is 1000lbs. lighter.

From experience the 5.3 alternator sticks up too far to clear the 944 hood but the PS reservoir fits the frame rail and the Truck AC compressor doesn't hit the passenger frame rail either, although I didn't do AC.
The 2010 Camaro accesories are probably the best plug n play fit if you can get them without resorting to armed robbery. Then again you have to mod the PS pump if running a PS rack.

Another side note is that there are two different 2010 Camaro WP's. The one in your 5th pic is a shorter offset and would be easier to route the outflow radiator hose. The other pump routes at an angle to the passenger's head BUT has the Truck Crank Pulley offset. (and looks like they stuck it on the newer truck motors too.... winning)
