The workmanship looks good, not feeling the door handles or the mirrors. Looks Japanese on a 944, the 968 handles are about perfect.

+1. If going with flush door handles was the desire, some 80's era Honda ones or something like that that is flush, but square, would look nice. I personally don't like the 968 handles or mirrors, either. I like 'em the way they came.

i gotta give him props...a lot of work went into fitting those parts. Not something that i would do mind you, but i do respect the guy for making some subtle changes to give an old 944 a facelift.

Ok, there are people who think a beat up '76 dodge pick up is beautiful, why is the "mona lisa" thought of as beautiful? The fact is that someone has a beautiful car, if not in the worlds eyes, atleast in their own. Isn't that what we all want? A beauty of our own...

Those look like the "Dished" style rockers you find around, but they are molded into the body, and with what looks like some strategic cutting at the front fender.

Bumping this thread because it looks like it's been written off and parted.

100% agreed. A lot of these changes are pretty tacky. Porsche's original design is excellent, and you lose the authentic vintage appeal by making these changes.

If you're not emotionally attached to the original design, fine to change it I suppose. But I still think the original bits match the rest of the car better.

The quickest way to make an old car look like a new one is to smack it up.

Ouch
