Actually depends on my needs. If I don't need it right away I would go with the overall lower price. I would prefer low price and convenience but I will take one or the other.

I bought the front bumper support, on E bay, from him, and he he decided that they were "sold out" even tho' he has others listed on E Bay now. So...go figure. This was last week.

If he did not have to depend on the eBay feedback system
In order to keep his business viable then he would have been gone a LONG time ago.
If you do buy anything from him make sure you do it with a credit card so you have some recourse.
Treat him like you would a rattlesnake and be VERY cautious!!

I posted this in another thread but wanted to bring this to everyone's attention outright. I have been buying parts from precision_motorsport (ebay id), aka Mike Hobocan for a few years. He has always treated me well and has always had stellar prices on some very nice used 944/951 parts. I was like many of you out there that were under the impression that Mike was a stand up kind of guy albiet with some bad communication skills when dealing with angry customers. Well, I stand hear before all you naysayers with egg on face as I have just been scammed royally by Mr. Hobocan.
The story starts by me noticing one of his ebay auctions for a new condition, refurbished set of 17" Ruf Speedlines. Since the 3.6L turbo Speedline wheel's price have crashed through the roof, I decided to make him a cash offer on the rims to help him out with eBay/Paypal fees and such. This was my first mistake. I figured since I had a good history with him he would treat me right as he always has. Well, since I did not purchase the rims through an eBay auction or pay for them via Paypal, he decided to defraud me. I have to believe that he has the rims in his auction as if someone would have paid his full asking price through ebay and received what I received his pefect feedback rating would have been forever tarnished. Anyway, to avoid repeating myself, please see below for what I posted in another thread.
Guys, please, please, please, do not trust this guy. He is not honest and should not be in business. He needs to be in jail if he continues to do business in this manner. Please be careful guys. I do not want to see other's get scammed.

I bought a fairly young fuel pump from him to replace the original in my '87. It was shipped in a couple of days. Good price and response. I don't anticipate any problems (finger crossed).

Mikes father, Bob said he blocked me because of a question I asked on an engine he had for sale. Question him and be blocked? That makes no sense. Mike, I can get parts without you, I would rather work with you. Please reconsider this. It is an unfair action because we have had no other issues.
