Clear Timing Cover
I found this will cruising Evil bay. I thought you guys might enjoy it. no affiliation to this product what so ever.

I hope you dont have oil flying around in your timing cover. Its a great way to shorten the life of your TB. Also a good idea so you can see the TB instead of taking off the cover. I would buy one but not for $125.

Well you keep talking about oil in cover well if you guys that have oil flinging around in there maybe you should get one so you know that some seals need replacing. Not my $125 can buy new seals and belts ??

Hmm... let's see.... High strength clear plastic from company I use is ~$80 for 2 lbs, ~245 for 15 lbs. Cheap rubber mold let's say 30-50.
What are the exact demsions of the cover? I'm thinking I could make a small batch for about $50 each. maybe 10-15, depends.. been a long time since I've done something big.

Haha I'll add it to the list of projects for the 944 Longevity Program...
But really, if there's enough interest, I could do some more accurate math, get a cover from someone who isn't using it/has an extra, make a mold and do a test part. then it's just setting up a group buy sort of deal so I know how much to buy and how many to make.
