Wheel paint idea: Does this look mean or like total crap?
I just bought another set of cookie cutters that I plan to refinish before I put them on my car, and I found myself wishing I had a black car so I could paint them like this:

It's Photoshopped, so the Fuchs look a bit weird. Nice car, whoever I stole the original from (it's why I stole it). I think it looks mean as all hell. It reminds of those super old cars with wooden spokes. If I had a black car, and I was refinishing 'em, I'd do 'em red...Might make for some good snow wheels if it's too odd for daily use.
Once I put the new set on my car, I'm going to refinish the ones that come off as well. I'd like to get $160 for the set when I'm done. I'll probably just do them black, unless anyone wants 'em red or something.
Anyway, love it or hate it? It's just a thought, let the opinions fly.

As my Mom has often said "To each his own,,said the man as he kissed a cow"...Nothin' personal, but it looks like a cow kissin' to me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Gotta disagree with that. It looks proper on old 911s, but I'd definately go with all black in the center for 80's and up.
For the record, I probably wouldn't do this with Fuchs, but I couldn't find a picture of the right angle of light-colored cookie-cutter to Photoshop with.
