Default Meet up this weekend in NOVA area?

Would any body like to meet a total stranger with a freshly purchased 87 944 Turbo to look at and compare to their own? If you have a driveway and you'd like to hang out, i'd bring beer along to share. If we can get a crew together perhaps we could meet somewhere with more space or the largest driveway.

I will be heading out for a drive in the morning to Skyline Drive and then head over to whoever invites me. I'm newish to the area and am looking to meet people with interests similar to myself.

Hope to hear from a few candidates for what could be a fun afternoon, the weather is forecast to be good.

You might consider joining the PCA. They have local regions and the regions have activities and gatherings. I recently joined and it has been a blast so far. Everyone will have the same interests as you.
Check out their website where you can see all the different type of activities there are. PCA.org

I am thinking about it but this is something a little more off-the-cuff. But thanks for the tip. Like I said, anyone available. I'm house trained, English and am comfortable with dogs, kids etc!

Another potential destination could be Summit Point, WVa (near Winchester).. there is a PCA Club race there this weekend!

There's also an "unofficial" gathering of folks at the Dicks in Centerville, VA on Sunday mornings.

I could be down for a little hanging out / impromptu car show Saturday afternoon. I have an '87 turbo as well. Unfortunately, I do not have a driveway.

And if you guys are grabbing a beer in Ballston sometime next week, I'd be up for that too, I'm in the Ballston / Clarendon area almost every weeknight.

Thanks for the responses guys. As it turns out my funds coming across the pond have been delayed meaning I might not have the car this weekend. Damn banks. I will be meeting up in Ballston for a couple of drinks next week some time with pnbell and SteveIX51 so if anyone is up for that let me know and i'll coordinate. I'm thinking Wednesday at this point. Will have the car by then hopefully!

Default Wednesday

Sounds good to me. Myles helped me a little with the purchase so it'll be good to meet him and thank him.
