lol, danp,
sometimes i shoot an ILS with the DME inop, but luckily i have an IFR certified GPS. somteimes ATC vectors me for an NDB, but then my HSI, DG, and AI go totally AWOL and i'm forced to shoot a no gyro approach. luckily, the ASR is functioning normally, so i can do an approach that way. thank goodness for RADAR.
LOL, ROFL, LMBO

define the true meaning of OE, OEM, Factory parts?

OE - Original Equipment - As used and supplied during production, or as superseded for replacement purposes or recall (usually provided by the factory via TSB - Technical Service Bulletin). Can describe "Factory" parts, but better indicates 3rd party contracted items (Bosch, Hella, Kolbenschmidt, etc).
OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer - the same manufacturer as used and supplied during production, but with changes made not necessarily according to manufacturer's specification. For instance, advances made in friction material on brake pads cause them to be labeled "OEM", but the design is from the same company and usually built to or exceeding the original specification. Sachs spring-hub clutches are on the fence here - since the design was called for by Porsche (to support racing efforts of the S2 cars), and Sachs was the OE supplier, but the design differs from the original and no TSB or Recall was served to specify replacement or supersession.
Factory - Quite simply, parts produced by Porsche itself. You'd be surprised how few of them there are. In the interest of mass production, specifications are developed in committee between the technical contractor and contractee (ex. Bosch and Porsche), then volume is determined by bean-counters.
Clear as mud?

Yeah, it's a good one. We need as many as we can get in as many places as possible. That way we might still have access to one a year or two from now.

Who said I was going anywhere? I will hopefully get a better ISP one day, but I plan on keeping all my server apps (FTP, WEB, MAIL).

"When I started lurking a couple of years ago I sumbled on the old archive but cant find them anymore (HD crash), anyone knows?"
**** happens.

RTFQ - Read The Friggin Question (I was just guilty of this, so it came to mind)
RIF - Reading Is Fundamental (uses for this occur when a question is asked after the answer was given)

Thanks for the explanation Skip! That was very clear and answers my questions.
Edit: After reading the list, my car is a 951S, DEFINITELY not a 952!

BTW guys, did you know that "In the USA you can't give an IOU to the UPS for a COD on an APO, cause they'll get the FBI and CIA on YOU!"
