Post these people give ebay a bad name!

Here is another one to add to the collection. I guess this was one of those rare 944 S2 cabriolet turbos with the factory turbo-delete option!

Don't know much about these as I'm quite happy with a n/a, but didn't I see "boost" mentioned a few times in there? Sounds turbo to me. What did I miss?

Fresh 8k "Grand Prix White" paint on it. For 8k, I'd hope they could at least get the color right.

RussRPJ-

The 951 Cabriolet (or 944 turbo convertible) was a euro only car and, while I'm sure there are 3 or 4 here in the states, they are considerably more expensive than $15k. Furthermore, there were no S2 autos (and thank God, not turbo autos). This is just a case of someone who has no idea what he is selling. The white should be Alpine White, he claims a new clutch in an auto. Just ridiculous!

Just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling that it's been properly maintained, doesn't it?

Like the nitwit that ran over to me at a gas station. Wanted me to see the six cylinder in his 944S he was so proud of. It turned out someone had replaced the 16 valve with an 8 valve n/a motor. He got confused looking at his distributor cap and thought he had a six cylinder.

The best part: He was a car salesman at the dealer next to the gas station.

According to the VIN it's a 3.0L, 1990 944S2 cabriolet, with dual airbags, built in Neckarsulm.

No turbo, and no automatic.

My car is Alpine white but the factory Fuch's are Grand Prix White. Go figure.

I believe the current white Porsche offers on new cars is called "Grand Prix White"

No idea if the shade is any different from Alpine White or not...

I have a 911 turbo booklet that my uncle got at a dealer and in the back there's a color chart, the only white is labeled "Carrara White", don't know if it's a typo or not. FWIW, the booklet is dated 2001 so new colors may be available since then.

Maybe Alpine/Grand Prix White is like Guards/(what ever the other one was called) Red, both reds had the same paint code and both were used for several years.
