Default Rennbay Fuel line kit

Post up some of your experiences with it. Which one did you buy? I don't have any tools to do this work and it looks like the $100 kit comes with all that.

I used the ones with the clamps and after 2 years I had cracks all over the outer blue fire resistant part. i'm not sure if it is a safety issue but I just bought another set and this time i'm going to rap them in heat reflecting tape.

I'm going to do these next week - but with the benefit of having the engine out while I'm in there. Also on the early cars the lines ran from the drivers side and not over the top of the of the exhaust manifold.

Travis made me a set for my 924S. They are a custom length and he had to fab them up. They were done and shipped within a day. I simply ordered the deluxe set and stated the 924S in the order notes section on the order form. They are the black set and are of superb quality. Ultimatly I had to trim them a little as he left a little extra on the hose length. The install was all of 20 minutes and fitment was perfect. I like this product and really like Travis and Rennbay's business habits. This will be the last set of fuel lines you will ever buy for your 944/924.

Okay sounds like he has some really good reviews. I will spring for the deluxe kit. Hopefully I can install them myself.

You can. if you have any questions, email Travis and he will promptly reply. There is a link posted above about a write-up. I did not review it, but I suspect it is a good tutorial. rennbay also has a tutorial on the subject. if thru all of that you have problems, post them here, or PM me and i will help as I can.
You won't be sorry about choosing Rennbay.

I asked to have the basic kit made with longer hoses, then rerouted them around the back of the head to help get them away from the header heat.

Curt...that engine-bay of yours looks very nice. Travis made some lines for me as I posted above, He seems very willing to accomodate any requests and his experiance with these cars makes communication a breeze.
My gratuitous plugs for Rennbay reflect how happy I am to find quality in both service and products in our hobby...it's rare.

I don't know if I will need the basic kit of the deluxe kit. I have a 1986 951. I need to replace both fuel lines, I have vice grips, and I also have a standard mechanics tool kit. It looks like the deluxe kit comes with tools and all that?

I got deluxe kit. Ordered it late wednesday night and it came yesterday. I'm hoping to put these on soon like today or tomorrow.

I hope I can figure it out.

Default Travis has the proper Fuel Link Kit

I installed the Rennbay fuel line kit and is the only one out there with the proper fittings on each end, he will also make them any length you want.
