Hello everyone, after going back and forth with my conscience I have decided to do the LS3 swap, and I will be parting out the Turbo motor and all related parts that I wont be using with the Chevy motor. (It is a strong motor and everything works very well). My knowledge of these cars, (while I am learning) is negligible at best so I was wondering if someone with experience in this type of thing could help me out with the whole thing. What I need is pricing information, and a good list of what i wont nee any longer. Thanks in advance for your help.

As a side note, I realize there are people on the board that don't like the idea of the swap, and to tell you the truth I'm not either. But what I need is cost effective reliable horsepower. And that just isn't going to happen with a turbo motor.

V2Rocket_aka944 is looking for a set of turbo pistons and rods. I'd shoot him a PM and see if he is interested.

I will be starting the tear down next week sometime. I need to set a goal and just dive in.

As far as the motor mounts are concerned, if they are good, I will sell them. Not sure I want to sell just pistons and rods though. Id probably be more apt to sell it as a long block though...

you just saved a 944 from certain death. God bless you.

a hard search of our two 944 forums will reveal many threads on this topic, but you can begin here....

What is the condition of the wiring harness? I would love to take that off your hands. My car ('86 turbo) is showing more and more electrical problems every time I drive it.

Wait.. so did I get it? You said you'd get back to me on when you could pull it and just sort of phased out contact.
