Sounds like it could make for a solid driver, but I'm afraid that time's running out. In the last updated the seller states "$2000.00 or is off to the junk yard".

I always hate to hear things like that. It's a shame to know that such well cared for cars can go to such waste, simply over finances. It's really too bad they are worth more in parts....

Ive never understood that mentality with a perfectly good car. Sending a runner to the junkyard for $100 just because you couldn't get what you wanted for it as quickly as you wanted. Cars don't always sell right away. :/ Its the mark of a frustrated owner. Hell i would just give it to a friend or somebody before sending it to its death in a yard.

Agreed. I think the car is probably a good bet for the money.

It won't go to a junkyard...just the seller trying to get some attention.

that still doesn't make much sense

if you want it gone faster, LOWER THE PRICE

seriously, for a great runner, I'll fly to CA, buy it for $100, and (at least attempt) to drive it to NY

no need to junk it!

i hope you're right, i've had that very thing happen to me, where the seller wants way more than the car is worth, but instead of splitting the difference with me and getting a fair deal, he would rather see it go to the junkers....pretty sad if you ask me
