is this how a 944 should run?

my whole engine torques about 1 1/2" when i turn the throttle cam...this one doesn't seem to move

it depends on how you do the throttle. if you flick it wide open fast, it will most likely move quite a bit, but If you gradually rev it like in the video, it will not move very much at all.

even at idle mine shakes a little

Probably need new engine mounts.

should vibrate visibly at idle but be consistent and smooth, basically goes away at anything over idle.

it will rock a little bit when you blip it hard but i dont know about 1.5"

is there any way to test the engine mounts? iv always thought that i messed up the balance shaft timing but i recently discovered how to check to make sure thats good, so once i do that if it still shakes like an orbital sander then its most likely bad mounts?

if it vibrates bad at idle then its the mounts...balance shafts dont do much til beyond 3000RPM
