Post Black week in Sweden

Hi all!

Last week and today has not been a good 944-day in Sweden.

Two cars crashed, one stolen and set on fire.

Check out the picture of the <a href="http://groups.msn.com/Porsche944Sverige/skokartong.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=1697" target="_blank">stolen, crashed and put in flames 944.</a>

I didn't think a car could burn that hot. Notice the solidified puddle of molten aluminum that used to be the rear bumper.

Thumbs down

More bad news:

One more member of the Swedish 944-board has been in an accident.

A Seat ran in to it from behind.

Well, in the 'every cloud has a silver lining' category - at least all of our cars just went up in value that much more. But I hate to see anyone lose anything that they cared for - Porsche or Geo Metro.

[quote] I didn't think a car could burn that hot <hr></blockquote>

A friend had a car stolen and torched a few years ago. It had burned itself out. It burned so hot that the towing company got his name and had to ask what kind of car it was. Eveything that was not steel was completely gone or deformed with the exception of the alloy wheels, they were only half gone. There was a solid block of glass in the bottom of each door where the windows melted and then cooled in the doors. It was really unbelievable to see.
