Apparently the idiot tech has been fired, but the dealer refused to do anything more. The dealer is reported to be re-thinking that, since someone pointed out to them that >100,000 people are estimated to have seen or heard about that thread.
I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't even think about doing business with a dealership I'd heard that about.

God help me. I read 2 1/2 pages of that thread and felt a very hard urge to drive a ballpoint pen into both my eyes with a sledgehammer while fueling up my car and smoking. SHOOT ME NOW!!!
We have some silly posts here, but that is just straight up retarded. I cannot believe the mentality of some of the listers there. Even the ones who think it was wrong still say things that are.. well.. retarded.
I don't mind Mustangs, they can be pretty potent cars, but the drivers are a few cards short of a full deck most of the time.
Oh.. for the tech at the shop, I would break his legs.

If anybody goes to read this, the thread is up to 11 pages. Poor Tom shows up on page 3 and reveals he's the husband of the lady who had her 2003 Cobra test drove by a tech to 140 mph. Another tech was a passanger. I don't recall Poor Tom or the tech having any posts from page 5-11. And I don't think there were any exchange of posts between the two. Please correct me if I missed something.
But like Perry said, there are a handful of posts in the first 3 pages that make some of Rennlist's twits look like they're in Mensa.
