Ohh, ok. That looks like the yellow powder-coated valve cover he's currently using, but he's got the SFR intake manifold now instead of the stock one in the pics.

Yes, we do make all blocks look that clean..we put a lot of pride and "hands on" into each project. It really is the joy of making something come to life, and making it a wonderfull thing to look at.

Just wanted to say...SFR is still waiting on pistons from JE, like I said before, I really appreciate everyones patience and will find a way to show our gratitude.

So...David, Chris, Andrew (maybe not on this list), jamesspeed ( I know your out there), please sit tight....the motors are worth it :-)

Hey John,

You have no problems from my end, I know the wait will be well worth it.

Have you had a chance to tear into my blown engine and check out the condition of the Gomes head, I hope it is ok.

Save the broken rod and piston for me, I want to use it as a paper weight

David,

Actually...YOur block is still wrapped in the plastic you sent it in...but , I will open the package tomorow and go over your head with a fine toothed comb...I'm sure its ok...Scott Gomes does nice work. Damnit...did that come from me???? I can't believe I just boosted our competitor...but really, scott is a good friend of SFR and Tim.

I'll send that rod and piston to you...it will be qwuite a nice weight :-)

Thank you David.
