My spec race car makes 131 hp at the rear wheels. I have some mods, but still a stock head, cam, and throttle body per my rules. So I can only figure a these gains might get you 25 hp.

I'm anxious to complete this phase of the project and put 'er on a dyno. With the mods, I am hoping for 180-190 at the rear wheels. Anything below 180 and I will be dissapointed, anything above 190 and I will be ecstatic. The costs for the mods are not that outrageous:
Camshaft = $450
Head Porting and Polishing = $0
Chip = $200
Throttle body = $250 (estimated)

A 2.8 is still my main objective...

schnellfahrer,

Not yet, my tuner is working thru a 12-item punch list, on the 944, that I provided him with a few weeks ago.I told him to take his time as I wanted to put more miles on my other Porsche before I send out the exhaust to Jet coatings (probably 3-4 weeks of down time total).
Once, that is complete, I will take the car to VIS and look into the infamous CF hood (see other thread) project as promised. Then I can take off the throttle body and have the work done. After this is complete then its ready for the dyno.

Anyone have a spare ' 86 na Throttle Body that they would want to sell? This might save me a few weeks...
