Brett,
Did you use the Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red? How many coats on each lens?
I have a can here and will do it this weekend so would appreciate your comments.
Regarding the full red backup lights. I have been wondering what to do with them. They do look better red and you don't use backup all that much at night. I checked with my bulb supplier and can get 15mm bayonet base halogen bulbs in 35 or 50 watt. Stock is 21 watt incandescent. These should overcome the paint filter effects. But don't leave them lit for over a minute or somesuch as the heat will start to melt the plastic, I'm sure.

ICESHARK,
I just did a post about this that may help you. You can search topic name: Finished the all red tail lights with pics...
I don't know how to link to that topic or if you can, but you can search for it on 924-968 forum.
I used 5-6 light coats. I think this may have been a little too much. Looks real good but 3 coats may have been better.
Brett,
Looks great. I like what you did with the front end also.
